Why we started Sweeptide
Ask people in Gwinnett what went wrong with their last cleaning service and the answers are rarely about cleaning. It was a different person every visit. Nobody could say what it would cost until someone came out. The price changed on the day. A turnover cleaner did not show up the morning after a sold-out weekend. Sweeptide is built around fixing those things, because they are what customers actually experience.
How we work
| Commitment | What it means |
|---|---|
| Employees, not contractors | Every cleaner is on our payroll, background-checked before their first shift and trained alongside an experienced lead. We do not dispatch app-based contractors. |
| Published prices | Our rates for every service are on the pricing page. A quote confirms the price; it does not start a negotiation. |
| Written checklists | The same room-by-room list on every visit, published on our house cleaning checklist. |
| The same team returns | Recurring homes and rentals keep an assigned team with notes on the property. |
| A 24-hour re-clean promise | Anything missed, reported within 24 hours, is re-cleaned free. See the service guarantee. |
| Insured and bonded | General liability insurance and a janitorial bond, with a certificate available to you, your HOA or your building before the first visit. |
How we pay cleaners
A cleaning company’s quality is mostly a function of whether its good cleaners stay. We pay an hourly wage above the local average for cleaning work, pay for drive time between homes, and do not build a tip expectation into anyone’s pay. That costs more than the gig model. It is also the only way we know to send the same competent person back to your home next month.
Products and equipment
We use HEPA-filter vacuums, so dust and pollen are captured rather than blown back into the room, and color-coded microfiber cloths so a bathroom cloth never reaches a kitchen. Disinfectants are EPA-registered and used at their labeled contact times — a disinfectant wiped off immediately has only cleaned, not disinfected. We keep pH-neutral cleaners for natural stone and older finishes, and we will use your own products whenever you prefer.
Local, on purpose
Sweeptide is based in Lawrenceville and cleans only in Gwinnett County and the parts of its cities that cross county lines. Staying in one county means our teams are never an hour away, event weekends can be staffed in advance, and we know which of our clients’ neighborhoods are unincorporated when the county’s rental license takes effect in 2027.
About the name
A tide comes back on schedule and leaves everything reset. That is the job: return on time, every time, and leave the place the way it should be.
