Booking and prices

How do I get a price for my home?

Use the quote form on any page or call us. For homes and rentals we can confirm a price from the bedroom and bathroom count, the service and how long since the last professional clean. Offices get a free walkthrough first. We reply within one business day, usually the same day.

What does a house cleaning cost in Gwinnett County?

Every-two-weeks service is $125 for a studio or one-bedroom, $150 for two bedrooms, $180 for three and $225 for four. Deep cleans run $220 to $400 and move-out cleans $260 to $470. The full table, including add-ons, is on the pricing page.

Why is the first visit more expensive?

The first visit is billed at the deep-clean rate because it removes build-up that a maintenance visit is not designed to reach. After that, recurring visits are shorter and priced accordingly.

How far ahead do I need to book?

Recurring slots and one-time cleans are usually available within a week. Move-out cleans at the end of the month and Airbnb turnovers on big event weekends fill first, so book those as early as you can.

Do you charge extra for travel or for weekends?

No. There is no travel charge anywhere in Gwinnett County, and Saturday and Sunday turnovers cost the same as weekdays.

Do I need to tip?

No. Our cleaners are paid a wage that does not depend on tips. If a team goes beyond what you expected, a tip goes entirely to them, and so does the credit for a review that names them.

Cleaners and trust

Who are the cleaners?

Employees of Sweeptide, not contractors from an app. Each one passes a background check before their first shift, trains on our written checklists alongside an experienced lead, and is covered by our liability insurance and bond.

Will the same people come every time?

For recurring homes, yes, as far as scheduling allows. Your team keeps notes on your home so a substitute, when one is needed, knows what matters to you.

How do you look after my keys and codes?

Door codes and alarm codes are stored encrypted and never written down. Physical keys are tagged with a number rather than your address and kept locked. You can revoke access at any time and we confirm when a key is returned.

What happens if something is broken?

The team tells you the same day with a photo. We repair or reimburse the item at its reasonable replacement value. Items that are irreplaceable or sentimental are best put away before a clean, because no reimbursement replaces them.

Are you insured and bonded?

Yes. We carry general liability insurance and a janitorial bond. We can send a certificate of insurance to you, your HOA, your property manager or your building before the first visit.

During the clean

Do I need to be home?

No. Most clients are at work. We message you when the team arrives and when they lock up.

What should I do before the cleaners arrive?

Pick up clothes, toys and papers from floors and counters, put away valuables and anything fragile you would rather we did not handle, and let us know about pets. Leave dishes in the sink if you want them washed on a standard visit.

Do you bring supplies?

Yes: HEPA vacuums, color-coded microfiber cloths and our own products. If you want us to use yours — for natural stone, or because of a sensitivity — leave them out.

Is it safe with pets and children?

Yes. We use products at their labeled dilutions, keep them with the team rather than on counters, and ventilate bathrooms. Let us know about pets so doors and gates stay closed.

What will you not clean?

Biohazards such as blood and bodily fluids, mold growth beyond surface mildew, pest droppings in quantity, the outside of windows above the first floor, anything over 50 pounds that needs moving, and electronics with cables attached. For those we will point you to the right specialist.

Why does spring cleaning take longer in Gwinnett?

Pine pollen. From about March to May it coats sills, tracks, porches and entryways and tracks inside on shoes and pets. We add sills, tracks and entry floors to every visit in that season, and it adds a little time to homes with heavily wooded lots.

Can you get Georgia red clay out of carpet and grout?

Fresh clay tracked in comes up with vacuuming and a pH-neutral cleaner. Set-in red clay stains in carpet usually need hot-water extraction from a carpet cleaner, and old stains in porous grout may need a grout specialist. We tell you honestly which is which.

Policies

What is your cancellation policy?

Change or skip a visit with at least 48 hours notice at no charge. Later changes are charged 50% of the visit, and a lockout — when we cannot get in at the scheduled time — is charged in full, because the team’s time is already committed.

What if I am not happy with the clean?

Tell us within 24 hours and we re-clean the areas you name for free. If the re-clean still misses, you are not charged for the original visit.

Is there a contract?

No. Recurring house cleaning can be paused or stopped at any time. Office agreements are month to month with 30 days notice.

Airbnb and VRBO

How do you know when my rental needs a turnover?

We subscribe to your Airbnb or VRBO iCal feed, so bookings land on our schedule automatically. You also get a confirmation for each turnover.

Do you do laundry for rentals?

Yes. We launder your linens off-site for $25 per turnover for up to three beds, or use your in-unit machines and make beds from fresh stock.

Will you report damage between guests?

Yes. We photograph every room on arrival before cleaning, so you have timestamped evidence for a damage claim, and we report maintenance issues in the same message.

Do Gwinnett short-term rentals need a license?

Unincorporated Gwinnett County requires one from April 14, 2027, along with a local agent and an inspection every two years. Some cities, such as Snellville, already require their own. See our short-term rental rules guide for the details and sources.

Offices

What does office cleaning include?

Restrooms cleaned and restocked, breakroom and kitchen surfaces, desks and high-touch points wiped where cleared, trash and recycling, and vacuuming and mopping. Detail tasks such as vents, baseboards and glass rotate through the month.

Can you clean after hours?

Yes. Most office clients choose evenings or early Saturday. There is no after-hours surcharge.

Do you clean medical offices?

We clean waiting rooms, restrooms, offices and staff areas for medical and dental practices. Clinical areas that require bloodborne-pathogen protocols and regulated medical waste stay with your clinical staff or a licensed medical-waste vendor.
