What every recurring visit includes
A recurring visit is a maintenance clean: it keeps a home that is already clean from sliding back. The team works top to bottom and dry to wet in each room — dust first, then surfaces, then floors — so nothing cleaned early gets dirty again before they leave.
- Kitchen: counters, backsplash and sink scrubbed and dried; appliance fronts wiped and stainless polished with the grain; stovetop degreased with grates washed; microwave inside and out; floors vacuumed and mopped.
- Bathrooms: toilet cleaned and disinfected including the base and hinges; tub, shower walls and glass descaled; sink, faucet and mirror; floors hand-washed at the edges where mops miss.
- Bedrooms and living areas: reachable surfaces dusted with decor lifted rather than dusted around; beds made, with linens changed if you leave fresh ones out; carpets vacuumed to the edges; hard floors vacuumed and damp-mopped.
- Whole home: trash emptied and liners replaced, stair railings and entry wiped, stairs vacuumed, and a final walk-through against the checklist.
Baseboards, doors and frames, vents, fan blades and window tracks are deep-clean tasks. On recurring service we rotate them through your visits — one area each time — so they never build up and you never pay for a full deep clean again unless you want one. What recurring house cleaning costs
Prices are per visit for every-two-weeks service, supplies included. Weekly service is 10% less per visit, and monthly adds 15% because a month of living takes longer to clear.

Weekly visits are 10% less per visit. Monthly visits add 15%. Your first visit is billed at the deep-clean rate because it resets the home to a standard we can keep.

From March to May, clients on monthly service often switch to every two weeks. Pine pollen tracks inside faster than a monthly visit can keep up with, and sills and floors show it first.
The same team, trained the same way
Every Sweeptide cleaner is an employee, not a contractor dispatched by an app. They are background-checked before their first shift, trained on our written checklists alongside an experienced lead, and covered by our liability insurance and bond. Recurring homes get a two-person team assigned to them. That team keeps notes: the door that sticks, the rug that should not be vacuumed on high, the dog that slips out. When someone is out, a teammate takes the notes with them.
We use HEPA-filter vacuums so dust and pollen are captured rather than blown back into the air, and color-coded microfiber so a cloth used on a toilet never touches your kitchen counter. If you would rather we used your own products — common with marble, quartz or a family member’s sensitivity — leave them out and we will.
What happens on the first visit
The first visit is a reset. It includes everything on the deep-clean list — baseboards, doors, frames, switches, vents and sills — because a maintenance schedule only works from a clean starting point. It is billed at the deep-clean rate for your home size and takes roughly twice as long as later visits. From the second visit on, you pay the recurring rate above.
Before we start, the lead walks through the home with you or reads the notes you left: rooms to skip, surfaces that need special care, where the vacuum can plug in. At the end, they walk it again against the checklist.
Keys, codes and being home
You do not need to be home. Most clients give us a door or garage code; we store it encrypted and never write it on paper. Physical keys are tagged with a number, not your address. You get a message when the team arrives and another when they lock up.
What recurring cleaning does not cover
We do not wash large loads of dishes on a standard visit (what is left in the sink, yes), clean inside the oven or fridge unless you add them, move furniture over 50 pounds, clean exterior windows above the first floor, or handle biohazards or mold remediation. For any of those, we will tell you who does.
